TIGA is a platform for new and emerging performing arts practitioners who are interested in developing their skills, be it writing, acting, producing or directing. An emerging scriptwriter is given a task to write three scripts based on three objects.
Bed – A young woman battles with the idea of possession in a relationship. She doesn’t seem ready to be in a relationship but she can’t handle being alone either. When her relationship begins to fall apart, she realizes just how far she will go for it.
Chair – A young woman is trapped in a loop. She can’t seem to move forward without giving up her past. She returns to the memory of her mother in order to make her toughest decision yet.
Knife – A young woman discusses her sexuality in ways that are uncommon to society. Sex is a taboo - but not when you’re making fun of it.
