Edgy and energetic, sly and skeptical, “Riding the Nice Bus” will feature the work of some of Singapore’s finest literary figures – including Alfian Sa’at, Tan Hwee Hwee, Edwin Thumboo and Kuo Pao Kun – and a provocative side of Singapore seldom outside the country.
“Riding the Nice Bus” is the first collaboration of its kind between the arts in Singapore and Malaysia. It is being produced as a highlight event of the inaugural Citigroup Kuala Lumpur International Literary Festival 2004, and is expected to attract an audience of at least 150-200, from the Festival as well as the general audience.
