Dua, Tiga Dalang Berlari was a docu-performance that investigated the position of the wayang kulit dalang (master puppeteer) in the shifting contexts of Malaysian history.
The performance presented different versions of the Betara Kala story, where a bloodthirsty, child-eating giant is confronted by a dalang. The performance also explored the lives of renowned dalangs and fierce rivals Dollah Baju Merah and Hamzah Awang Mat, through texts culled from interviews and newspaper reports.
