Baling (Membaling)

Bringing theatre to the masses, Baling (Membaling) was the first production under the year-long tribute to Krishen Jit—the Krishen Jit Experimental Workshop.

Baling (Membaling) brought to youth-centric places such as local colleges, universities, and futsal centres within Klang Valley with the aim to engage with students and young people. It featured transcripts of the Baling Talks and the recollections by journalist-activist Said Zahari, putting together a performance that aimed to spark conversation and interest in theatre, history, and the arts with Malaysian youth.
