3 Lives is a compelling story about the lives of people involved in the sex industry – their cry to be treated like ordinary human beings with longings and desires, hopes, and aspirations.
These monologues seek to examine the lives of sex workers and hopefully, people will try to understand them better.
3 Lives sees the continuation and strengthening of close and fruitful cooperation and collaboration between Five Arts Centre and The Actor Studio coming close on the heels of the Directors’ Workshop which was successfully staged in late August 1998.
3 Lives was first performed as part of The 8th Asian Monodrama Festival 1998 which was staged in Kuala Lumpur from 1st to 5th August 1998 at the Experimental Theatre and The Actors Studio.
