12 people – 6 artists and 6 ‘political types’ – had been invited by Marion D’Cruz to independently each create a 2 minute solo and perform it in 12 different spaces in the Damansara Performing Arts Centre.
Moving from one space to the next, 12 different groups of audiences of 10 watched each of the 12 performances, one after the other. All the performances started and ended at the same time.
2 minute solos was first conceived and performed at the Five Arts Centre office and studio in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail in October 2013. This was the second time it was being staged, performed by an entirely new cast of participants in a new space.
