Seni Untuk Semua | 2025 Krishen Jit Fund recipients | Fragments of Tuah at Kyoto Experiment | Siapa Cacat? crowdfunding

1.  Five Arts Centre, as a member and secretariat for ReformARTsi, encourages everyone to sign and share the Seni Untuk Semua petition to the Malaysian Prime Minister to reform the arts ecosystem.  Check out the 5-point call.

2.  The Krishen Jit Fund, supported by Astro Kasih and Creador Foundation, is 20 years old this year.  Find out more about the 2025 recipients and their projects.

3.  After a successful premiere in Kuala Lumpur, Fragment of Tuah is touring to Kyoto Experiment, one of the leading contemporary performance festivals, from 4-5 October 2025.  

4.  Five Arts Centre is very happy to support Teater Untuk Semua’s Siapa Cacat?, a theatre production led and performed by Disabled, Deaf, and Neurodivergent artists.  The performance weaves together stories born from their lived experiences of Disability.  Please contribute to the crowdfunding campaign.

Now in its 19th year, the Krishen Jit Fund was created to encourage and support experimental creative work in Malaysia. One of the main objectives of theatre director Krishen Jit’s pioneering work was to celebrate original Malaysian art, across a range of disciplines, and to pursue innovative modes of expression and intervention.
